Monica Bush, PA-C
Monica is a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant with over 11 years in emergency medicine and urgent care. She is now part of OPT2LIV NORTH, bringing her clinical expertise and patient-centered approach to a holistic, concierge-style primary care and wellness practice. She recently graduated from Dr. Amy Banter’s Holistic Primary Care Training Program, and her practice model at OPT2LIV NORTH will simulate Dr. Amy’s integrative and wellness-focused approach.
Born and raised on a family farm in Tipton, Indiana, Monica developed a strong work ethic from an early age. Her mother worked in banking and her father was a farmer—both now retired. She remains close to her family; her brother and his wife live in Cicero with their two children. Growing up, Monica thrived in athletics and agriculture. She earned 12 varsity letters across multiple sports in high school and was actively involved in 4-H, showing cattle and hogs. She now resides in Cicero, Indiana, with her husband, Rob, and their two children, Cora and Eli.
Monica continued her success on and off the court at Franklin College, where she played college basketball and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University in 2014.
From 2014 through January 2026, Monica worked full-time in emergency medicine, primarily at Riverview Health. She also provided care in urgent care settings from 2023 to 2026. Colleagues and patients appreciate her thorough, investigative approach—whether hunting down labs, coordinating specialist consults, or taking the time to explain complex medical information in clear, understandable terms.
Outside of medicine, Monica enjoys an active lifestyle that includes outdoor activities, travel, fitness, golf, and reading. She brings the same competitive drive, positive energy, and good humor she developed as a student-athlete into every aspect of her life and patient care. A good listener and supportive friend, Monica is known for her sarcastic wit and her ability to make patients feel heard and at ease.
Monica is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and is excited to deliver well-rounded, integrative medicine at OPT2LIV NORTH. She focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of health issues while empowering patients to optimize their health through personalized lifestyle, nutrition, fitness, and preventative strategies — believing that proactive care is the foundation of longevity and vibrant aging.
Rob Bush, PA-C
Rob is dedicated to helping patients achieve real, sustainable health through preventative, holistic, and functional medicine. His goal is simple: give you the time, tools, and personalized support you need to feel your best—so you can fully enjoy everything life has to offer.
Born and raised in Vincennes, Indiana, he came from a family of educators. His dad is a school principal and his mom is a special education teacher. Their commitment to helping others shaped him from an early age and continues to influence how he practices medicine today. He earned his undergraduate degree from Franklin College before heading to South College in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he completed my Physician Assistant training.
Sports have always been a big part of his life. He played college soccer and has tried nearly every sport along the way. That competitive background, combined with a love for good food and trying new things, gives him a practical understanding of what a “reasonable and attainable” healthy lifestyle actually looks like in real life—not just on paper.
Today, he and his wife Monica are building this practice together. They’re raising two amazing kids—Cora (5) and Eli (3)—who keep them laughing, active, and grounded every single day. Family time, good meals, sports, and adventure are what they value most, and want the same for their patients.
Whether you’re looking to prevent future health issues, address chronic concerns with a root-cause approach, or simply optimize how you feel day-to-day, he’s here to partner with you. His philosophy is straightforward: health should enhance your life, not restrict it. With longer visits, personalized care plans, and a focus on both evidence-based and holistic strategies, he’ll work together with you to create a sustainable path that fits your lifestyle, your goals, and your priorities.
Rob looks forward to welcoming you to the practice and helping you thrive.
